HOOVER INSIGHT
this website for HOOVER was quite successful from a project management standpoint. the process was followed and it came out on time and under budget. this was the first website i built using the HTML5 doctype. project planning, project specification, wireframes, html, css, javascript, jquery, ajax, image optimization.
MACKGRANITE
the mackgranite website is a member of several all-Flash websites done for Mack Trucks. (mackgranite.com, mackpinnacle.com, mackterrapro.com, titanbymack.com) These sites were fairly complicated, each made up of over 70 Flash files which were cleverly laid on top of one another. This enabled them to be loaded quickly. In addition, I built a configuration file in XML format, numbering each image and piece of copy so that copywriters and graphic designers could each do their parts, thereby eliminating the bottleneck of having to go through a programmer to make updates. Flash ActionScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SalesForce API integration. screenshots of the accompanying sites below.
MACKADVANTAGES FOR IPHONE
the MackAdvantages.Com – iPhone Lite Site was quite hard to put together since it had so many columns. The goal was to try and preserve something built in Flash for desktops/laptops which normally doesn’t translate well to the limited real estate of your typical mobile device. I wrote a quick little JavaScript which detects the user’s screen resolution and if it’s less than 600px wide, I automatically redirect him to the “lite site” page. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, image optimization, lots of frustration.
MACKPOWERTRAIN MOBILE
the MackPowertrain mobile site was built to support any mobile device with a decent browser, i.e. – one which has support for modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript standards. i used some jQuery animations to fade the information in and out. this is why i really enjoyed doing websites for mack because they understood where the web is going… simple to use, to the point and intuitive.
MACKDOGHOUSE
the mackdoghouse was a wordpress installation which i pimped out. this one features a forum, voting system with monthly prize, calendar, latest news and latest posts feeds, lots of jquery animations, flash games linked in from the corporate site and a whole lot of html, css, javascript, ajax, jquery and php programming.
MASTERCARD
this was done in an agency, on behalf of another agency, and probably, on behalf of another agency… the worst type of project to be involved in. no wiggle room. no direct talking with the client. anyway, this promotional website was locked down to certain participants. it made heavy use of AJAX (before the days of jQuery).
COORDINATED HEALTH
programmed the frontend and backend for this one. contact forms with a few clicks. video player templates. lots of stuff.
OLUX
did the programming after another developer had created the framework. first exposure to the smarty templating system (didn’t and still don’t like it).
ECM
full programming. html, css, javascript, lots of design exceptions… oh the joy of it.
CIALIS
heavy use of the client’s cms… a java-based system. many voting widgets, css, html, javascript, image optimization.
MASCO BATH
full programming, front and back. flash, html, css, php, mysql, jquery, image optimization.
SEA SHELL LBI
this was a hotel website. custom everything. dynamic flash elements, html, css, javascript, php, mysql, cms, etc.
CONDOM CADDY
flash programming, flash-to-paypal procedures, contact forms, custom cms, html, css, javascript.
FRANCHISE FAME
never understood what this website was about. html, css, javascript, php email scripting, image optimization.
ONTHEMICDJS
custom everything. message board, cms, graphics, image optimization, html, css, javascript, php, mysql.
STEMCO DUROLINE
the STEMCO Duroline website required html, css, javascript, ajax, php scripting including a fulltext site search, flash actionscript, video compression using sorenson squeeze and image optimization. this tri-language site is accompanied by another website and landing page using these same technologies; stemcocrewson.com and stemcobrakeproducts.com, respectively.
PURTECH
strictly backend coding in access and classic asp… though it wasn’t called classic at the time.
FLANGEFREE
the Flange Free website for GST (Garlock Sealing Technologies) was a fairly simple microsite. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash ActionScript, video streaming.
212ULE
the 212 ULE website was an all-flash piece. I used Swift3D to produce the rotation animation. the storyboard for this was very detailed.
GUITARWAVS
this one was done in exchange for some very cool audio loops back when acid was sonic foundry.
SENDMECANDLES
another ancient site done sometime around 2002 i think. html, css, javascript, image optimization, paypal integration.
STREGONERIA ITALIANA
custom everything. cms, forums, private messaging, image galleries, etc.
